I've been an artist since a very young age.
My journey in the beauty industry began in 1999 as a student in the first graduating class of the Aveda Institute Houston. Recognized for my leadership and creativity, I was awarded a scholarship to train and become an Aveda Institute instructor immediately after graduation. Over the next four years, I mentored countless students in Aveda's prestigious color, hair cutting, and styling curriculums. I transitioned to working "behind the chair" in 2004, where I have been happily busy ever since. I feel that the invaluable experience of teaching not only sharpened my abilities as a stylist, but has allowed me "train" my clients to recreate their styles from my chair to their homes.
When not in the salon, I find myself continuously seeking other creative outlets including photography, interior design/decorating, and health and wellness.
